TEI Denver Chapter - Comp & Benefits, Ethics Day [Season Pass Holder]

The Denver Chapter of Tax Executives Institute will hold a tax program on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in the Ricketson Law Building at University of Denver. The full day program is on the topic of Compensation & Benefits, including Ethics, presented by Alvarez & Marsal. The prospective agenda for the program is attached, and additional details are below. Breakfast and lunch are included.


WHAT:  CPE (7.0 hours, including 2.0 hours Ethics)

WHEN:  Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (7:30-8:00 AM Check-in and breakfast)

WHERE:  Ricketson Law Building, Room 165 - University of Denver - 2255 E Evans Ave, Denver, CO 80210

Parking will be covered by the TEI Denver Chapter, and will be in the garage adjacent to the Ricketson Law Building. Parking passes and detailed instructions will be sent to registrants 1-2 days prior to the event.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Earlier of maximum registrations or Thursday, April 11, 2024, 11:59pm MDT (see RSVP POLICY below).

RSVP POLICY:  Due to space limitations, only the first 120 registrations will be honored; please register early to ensure a seat.

COST:  There is no additional cost for attendees who have paid for the Denver season pass for all FY 2023-2024 meetings. For all others, the cost for the full day seminar is $350 for TEI members and $450 for non-members. Payments can be made via the TEI Connect A La Carte registration link above. Please choose the PayPal button for payment; you do not need a PayPal account to pay. When prompted to log in to PayPal, select the "Pay With Debit or Credit Card" button. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  Participants will be updated on taxation issues related to Compensation and Benefits, as well as Ethics concerns. Specifics are contained in the attached agenda.

INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY METHOD: Live Seminar

PROGRAM CONTENT:  Program content will be presented by tax professionals from Alvarez & Marsal. Program evaluations will be provided via email following the session.    

PROGRAM MATERIALS: Program materials/documents including the agenda, bios, and slides will be available to download on the TEI Connect website prior to the meeting, here: Denver Chapter Public Community Library

CPE & CLE CREDITS – The program is expected to qualify for a maximum seven (7.0) hours of CPE and CLE, including two (2.0) hours of Ethics. Attendees wishing to receive CPE or CLE must record their attendance by (1) utilizing the onsite registration list to physically sign in and sign out of the event, and (2) signing and retaining the CPE certificate that will be provided via email following the event. The CLE certificate will be sent via email as well; please note that CLE attendees are responsible for submitting their own CLE credit request online to the Colorado Supreme Court website.
