Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740 includes financial accounting and reporting guidance for the effects of income taxes resulting from an entity’s activities during the current and preceding years. This workshop is designed for tax professionals with minimal ASC 740 experience, but it is also useful for those experienced tax professionals who are interested in refreshing their introductory income tax accounting knowledge.

• Learn the basic tax accounting principles under ASC 740;
• Experience an engaging combination of presentations, case studies and practical applications of fundamental tax accounting, reporting and internal control over financial reporting concepts; and

This workshop will cover more advanced accounting for income tax topics and concepts, with an emphasis on accounting for new provisions of tax reform and SAB 118 measurement period adjustment considerations. Come prepared to share your experiences and insights in the ever-changing tax accounting landscape.
