This panel explores the potential changing federal tax landscape for 2021 and beyond, with a particular focus on the implications for M&A activity. The speakers will discuss the implications of the new administration and Congress on existing tax rules, and proposed legislative changes. We also will address the implications for existing rules that are set to sunset, or that are subject to automatic rate changes. We will consider how these impending changes, and other proposals from the Biden administration, could impact M&A activity today and in the future.
