TOPIC: Nuts, Bolts, and Nuances of the Competent Authority Process
LEARNING OBJECTIVE: This presentation provides a general overview of the U.S. competent authority process as well as current global trends and considerations that may impact the timing and success of competent authority procedures, if invoked. Strategic considerations differ slightly with US-initiated vs. foreign-initiated tax assessments, and the nuances of each will be explored as part of this presentation.
PREREQUISITE: None

PARKING: Parking will be validated in the parking garage at 1100 Caroline St., The Downtown Club is on the top floor of the parking garage structure. Proceed to the NE elevator bank and go up to level "C”.
PAYMENT: For TEI members who have paid the Annual Pre-Bill, there is no charge. For everyone else, the cost is $35.00 payable at the door. Member substitution is not allowed for Roundtable meetings.
