It has been two years since our last Tax School and we are excited to announce the two-day 2017 Tax School. This year’s program is geared to a broad corporate tax audience. It will be useful for tax professionals, including (1) junior to mid-level tax professionals who wish to learn more about the fundamentals of tax accounting, transfer pricing, and international tax, (2) more experienced tax professionals who wish to hear about the latest hot topics and updates, and (3) those desiring a refresher course. Our instructors will be from EY’s local and national tax practice.
Day 1 of the School will focus on the fundamentals, including the following:
- International Tax Basics
- Federal & State Tax Update
- Income Tax Provision Basics
- Transfer Pricing Basics
Day 2 of the School will focus on more advanced topics, including the following:
- US Tax Reform & Global Trade Update
- BEPS Update
- Global Tax Controversy and Tax Risk Management
- SEC Comments / Tax Restatements and Material Weaknesses
Participants can sign up for Day 1, Day 2, or both days.
Speakers will be from EY’s local and national tax practice

This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California for up to 6.5 hours; and the Silicon Valley Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc. certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education.
