On behalf of current and former officers of the Chicago Chapter, we are sorry to announce the news that our tax colleague and friend, Marcy Miller, passed away on January 16, 2020. Her positive and loving spirit will be greatly missed.
Obituary information:
Marcella Koslowske Miller, 56, of Park Ridge, IL, died on January 16, 2020. She was born May 18, 1963 in Omaha, NE. A longtime employee of McDonald's Corporation, she earned a bachelor's degree from Creighton University and a master's degree from University of Denver. She is survived by her children, Michael, Julie, and Jackson of Park Ridge. Also survived by her mother, Marcella Ferlic Koslowske of Huntley, IL; father Fred Koslowske of Montrose, CO; sister Julie (Roger) Goulart of Los Altos, CA; and brothers: Tom (Joan) Koslowske of Ewing, NJ; Dan Koslowske of San Francisco, CA; and Charles Koslowske of Oklahoma City, OK.
Visitation will be January 31, 2020, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, IL. A celebration of her life will follow at the Marriott Chicago O'Hare Hotel, 8535 W. Higgins Rd., Chicago, IL, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
